High above Scotch Creek on the North Shuswap, this trail system climbs to the Scotch Creek Lookout, one of the best panoramic views of Shuswap Lake and the surrounding highlands. A 3.5 km loop links the north and south lookout viewpoints, while the 2.5 km Hlina Trail singletrack winds across bluffs and aspen forest and is also popular with mountain bikers. A short spur leads to quiet Lost Lake.

After the 2023 wildfire
The Bush Creek East wildfire burned through this area in 2023. The trails have reopened after repair work, but expect an open, burned landscape in places and watch for unstable ground and fallen trees. The system is managed by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (Area F Parks Commission) with the Shuswap Trail Alliance.
As regional district parkland there's no private owner to claim this listing — the CSRD or trail volunteers can contact The Shuswap Loop with condition updates.
